LotRO : Dwarven origins
February 19, 2009 06:02 PM PST

This is a article to introduce dwarven origins. If you are interested in it,just read up.Have fun in LOTRO.

It's interesting to note that the original editor for Lord of the Rings actually "corrected" Tolkien's spelling of "dwarves" to "dwarfs." Tolkien stated that the true plural of dwarf is dwarrows, yet he never actually used that version except in the word "Dwarrowdelf", another term for Moria. He even called his version of the plural his own piece of "private bad grammar".

Dwarven History
The Dwarves were said to have awoken just after the Elves, at the start of the First Age, before the Sun or the Moon. The Vala created the Seven Father of the Dwarves in secret from the other Valar, originally. When it was decided that this creation was not evil, they were allowed to awake only after the Elves. Aulë sealed each of these Dwarven patriarchs in stone chambers throughout the furthest reaches of Middle-earth.

Durin, the most infamous and eldest of the original Seven Fathers wandered the eastern side of the Misty Mountains after he awoke, only to discover Khazad-dûm. The following generations of his people were known as the Longbeards, and they prospered in the underground caves.

Far to the west in Ered Luin, the cities of Belegost and Mogrod were founded by the Firebeards (Nogrod) and the Broadbeams (Belegost). This was the land of the Blue Mountains. The remaining four houses were Ironfists, Stiffbeards, Blacklocks and Stonefoots. Tolkien didn't detail these lineages quiet as much as the first three, as most Dwarves pertaining to the story of The Ring were descendants of Durin and the Longbeard clan.

There were also the Petty-dwarves, which were exiles from various houses who formed together in Ered Luin's Beleriand, before the creation of Belegost of Nogrod. It was during this time that the Sindar first made contact with Dwarves and saw them as nothing more than "bothersome animals". Through these hard times with the Elves, and a continued history of being notoriously anti-social, the Petty-dwarves eventually became extinct.

The discovery of mithril in Khazad-dûm led to great wealth and respect for the Dwarves during the Second Age. Once the Rings of Power were forged and given to the seven kings of the Dwarven clans, they joined the Elves in their battle against Sauron.

During the Third Age, when Dwarven miners unearthed the mighty Balrog, henceforth known as Durin's Bane, the ensuing destruction crippled the once-mighty kingdom and drove the Dwarves from their native homeland.

The refugees from Khazad-dûm eventually settled across the lands, from the Grey Mountains to the Lonely Mountains, where the great Iron Hills kingdom was established. During the War of the Dwarves and the Orcs after the death of King Thr¨®r, it is said that more than 35% of the entire population of Dwarves was killed.

Exile was soon found again as the Dwarves wandered back to the Blue Mountains. This didn't last long for the majority of Dwarves though, as Thorin II Oakenshield set out to recolonize the Lonely Mountain after Smaug the dragon was slain by Bard. After Gimli joined the Fellowship of the Ring and did his part to save Middle-earth, he settled and ruled the Dwarven kingdom in the Glittering Caves, near Rohan. When Aragorn died in year 120 of the Fourth Age, Gimli set out with Legolas to the Undying Lands. The fate of the Dwarves from that point was not detailed any further by Tolkien.

LotRO gold guide
February 19, 2009 06:00 PM PST

Do you having problems in LOTRO with money because you have no time to making money? If that is so, you may want to search for a solution, leaving the game would be one but you will be bored then. Instead, why not seeking help from a LOTRO gold guide?

You don't really notice the impacts that limited play time have on your character as you level. But as you reach the maximum level, you will notice how every death takes you closer to bankruptcy. The downside of dying in LOTRO is the repairing bit, if you were at a spot killing for half-hour and then died, you will see that the money you made aren't enough to cover the repairs, so you end up losing money instead of making it. Why is a LOTRO gold guide best for a casual player? Well simply because it evolves around the concept of killing easy enemy NPCs for money. A player that can play many hours a day can attend raids and instances and will keep his balance afloat. A casual player needs something else to keep his gold level up, something like a LOTRO gold guide. In such a guide he should find spots for each and every level. You then just have to pick one that's best suited for your class.

Good guides should contain a high variety of places where to farm along with detailed information on the items that drop, their value and such. Another good thing would be if the guide contained some specifics of each spot, so you'd know what you are getting in to and if it will be worth it. The beauty of such a guide is also the fact that it is yours, you can log on anytime you want and go buy lotro gold. Raids and instances are usually planned and you might never make it to one, but having such a guide will ensure that you can make gold whenever you can log on.

I hope this will help, even though it wasn't as detailed as a gold making guide can be, I'm sure it will still help.Lotro service on Goldceo.com:LOTRO gold and LOTRO powerleveling. Thanks for your support.

LOTRO: PVP maps and How to play
February 19, 2009 05:49 PM PST

Well hello there! SomeLOTRO players would ask: I heard talk about maps... where do I get these? or how do I play my main character in the Ettenmoors? Now here is a guide for you to follow. Hope you could get some ideas. I highly highly recommend you to buyLOTRO gold and LOTRO power leveling from Goldceo. It is so fast! Just enjoy!

How to get the maps
One of the most important things to have out in the 'Moors are your maps. There are a total of 15 maps you can get on the Creep side. 3 maps for each Keep:

*Lugazag
*Tol Ascarnen
*Tirith Rhaw
*Isendeep
*Grimwood Lumber Camp

Each map can be obtained by doing quests for each keep. Starting, you need 10 quests to obtain your Crude map to the Keep, followed by 25 quests for your Poor map to that keep,

then finally 50 quests total for your Good Map. The Crude and Poor maps all share the same timer, so if you use your Crude Grimwood Map, the timers for the rest of your Maps

will start the cooldown also. The only maps that do not share a cooldown are the Good Maps, they are all on a seperate timer.

There is also a Gramsfoot Map you can obtain by "scounting" out the different keeps or (depending on the keep) talking to one of the NPC's there. this you have to do without

dying so make sure you steer clear of the fighting!

How to play your main character in the Ettenmoors.

You’ll first need to level your character to level 40 though, as that’s the lowest level you can enter the Ettenmoors as. It’s probably a better idea to level him or her a

bit higher though, as everything in the zone is geared towards top level players. Once you’ve done this, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Travel to Rivendell by any means possible
- Find the Horse Stables in the Western section of the area (known as Elrond’s Stables).
- Right click on Stablemaster Remros then select Ettenmoors and click the “Go!” button. You’ll be taken to the Ettenmoors, where you can begin your quest to rid the area of

Sauron’s forces.
The objectives for the player character side of things are similar to the monster side. Kill the monsters, complete the quests scattered across the zone, and attain and keep

control over the keeps and towers in the area. Doing all of these things will reward your player with Destiny Points.

That is the guide. There is more usefull guide and skills thread in our news. Welcome!

Cronous:Union War guide
February 19, 2009 05:31 PM PST

Union War is a battle between the defending and attacking Unions in Cronous. Here I will introduce a Union War guide for you.Hope you can be interested in it.I think it is a good guide to you.

Union Wars
A "Union War" is a large scale castle siege between a defending Union and an attacking Union. There is only one defending Union and one attacking Union. There may also be neutral players who can attack defending or attacking players.
Neutral players can choose to ally themselves with either side or kill both sides, but can not inflict damage on either the gate or the archstone.

Applications are open from Monday 00:00 (midnight) PST and end on Thursday 5:00am PST.
Siege registration can be right after the previous siege has ended. Verified by Glocker
Union Wars occur every Sunday at 8:00am PST (11:00am EST // 4:00pm GMT).

The attacking Union's goal is to destroy the defending Union's Stone of Protection (Ark Stone) located inside the castle. The Ark Stone must be destroyed within the 100 minute time limit, though. Once the Ark Stone is destroyed or time runs out, the Union War is over. The winner of the Union War will take the castle.

Union Wars are held every week on each server. The Union who wins and takes the castle will get control of all corresponding castles in every channel on that specific server.

Union Wars are only held on the specific Union War channel in each server.
*Time Limit: 1 hour 40 minutes (100 minutes).
*PK Penalty is not applied during the war. However, the character’s virtue rate will affect the item drop rate still (if you have really low virtue, the chance of dropping an item if you die is really high).

If 2 or more Unions apply for the Union War, the participant will be selected based on following criteria (listed in priority):

1. The most number of guilds in the Union.
2. The most number of members in the Union.
3. The Union that applied first.
So if union A, B, and C apply. Union A applies first with 80 members and 2 guilds. Union B applies second with 20 members and 5 guilds. Union C applies last with 150 members and 4 guilds. Union B would be picked as the attacking Union.

How to Do a Union War
1. Apply for the Union War at NPC Alen located in front of Union building to apply as Besieging Union. You will be required to pay 10,000,000 Cro to do so.
* The Union that applies for the Union War is not allowed to apply again for a week from the day of the Union War. In other words, if you apply and get in one week, you can't apply the next week.
* Unions cannot apply for Union Wars until a month has passed since the Union creation date.

2. The Union War starts at the scheduled date and time.

3. When the Union War begins, attackers and defenders are summoned to the warp points of their respective sides. Neutral players are spawned at a seperate location (the attackers' 2nd warp location).
Again, during the Union War, PKing will not drop your virtue. However, virtue will be affected by PKing before the start of the war or during the one minute loading time after the end of the war.

4. During the Union War, the castle area is changed to war mode. The castle gate will be closed and the Ark Stone will be activated. Also, the background color of attacking characters' names will turn red, and the background color of defending characters' names will turn blue. Color of neutral users will remain same.

5. During the Union War, users can transform into weapons, use Union War-exclusive items (i.e. items only usable in Union Wars), or observe the enemies using the Beholder. Union War-exclusive items have no level restriction and all classes can use them.

Cronous:Mages leveling spot guide
February 19, 2009 05:09 PM PST

Hello,guys.Welcome to our website.
This is a list of areas in which mages should train within the specified lvl ranges. If you have just started playing Cronous, then this is the portion you should read.Hope the guide is helpful to you.Have fun in game.

1-19 Castle Cronous:

1-4 various pygmies
5-8 treeants and the stronger pygmies (the ones with the knives and ice attack)
9-10 cobalt cave - just skip the others.
11-15 Ketters Temple, don`t touch monsters too much

16-19 Ketters Hell

20-29 Sitis Terra

20-22 desert area
23-25 cavus
26-29 Purica Pathway

At 30-36, there are a few things you can do.

1. You can train off frezzles in the Library maze, in CC.
2. You can train in temple road and move on to the Library maze.
3. You can train in temple road and move on to Mountainus Temple when your ready.

37-75 Other areas

37-40 Mountainus f3 and f4
41-44 Tarra
45-50 Chakras
50-56 Kaineus Town (or pay for lvling in AoB)
57-64 Unos/AoB, IN UNOS STAY AWAY FROM BASPHITY, SPINNERS, AND STRONGER CREATURES `TIL 60!
65-69 Unos/Malus/AoB
70-74 Malus/AoB

So that`s all you can do solo. If you have a buffer and valk (any kind) with you, it`s a lot easier to lvl,and far quicker.
I doubt mages can lvl well beyond 75, solo, BUT this is wat I`ve heard for 75+:

75-79/84 Madravas/Lava Stone
80-84 (Party definitely needed) Amara
85-89 (Party probably needed)HV
90-94 (Party definitely needed)Entice

Remember, from 70-80 you can train in FP as well. It`s amazing xp, even w/ 6 ppl in the party, but you need a binding valk, at least 2 higher lvl offensive valks, a support savi and a buffer. A mage is pretty much only useful w/ lightning or/and ice, so if ppl r deciding between a lvl 75 astral mage and a lvl 65 ice mage, they`ll usually go ice.
The point I`m trying to get across is this: Mages aren`t used much in this game, so it may become competitive for some between 70 and 80. After 80, you won`t see many mages, so the competition dies off and the usefulness increases

Cronous:Guide for Crushing Fall Bow Valk Build
February 19, 2009 05:04 PM PST

Here is a short guide for cronous players .It's great for fast leveling and farming. Since you will be in party 90% of the time and fighter's max Encourage and Holy Armor over-ride Aura (they do not stack) you only need 1 point aura here. Hope it's usefull for you!

1. Basic: 1 point weight,1 point accuracy,1 point dodge ,Max range mastery

2. Class: Max Haste ( a must), Max Featherstep ( a must), Max Crushing Fall ( a must) ,10 points Deadly Assault ,1 point aura (for the occasional solo) ,1 point bind (a must) ,1 point burst (a must for party) ,1 point wail and/or shadow (prefer wail over shadow)

Place any extra points to 90 on Dodge and Deadly Assault - You will need to pull points for your level 90 skills so pull them from DA and Dodge. If you do not save your points for 90 skills then remember to save or buy skill inits.

3. Level 90 Skills: Level 1 booster (does not need to be leveled past level 1 - needs 5 points each time) ,
Damage Enchant ( needs 3 points each time and this skill extends to party)

4. Level 95 Skills: Assassination (Covert Strike) for melee valk and misses 50% of the time.
Crushing Heaven for bow valk but damage is so low compared to CF - not worth it . Recommend maxing Damage Enchant to level 108.

Follow this guide and have a good time in cronous.Purchasing Cronous gold from our website will make the game process more funny. We will afford you the best service.
